+INFLUENTS
The CRAFTYCOUTURE program is renowned for its general nature; a “not so overly specific look” at the culture of DIY fashion. +Influents is for girls who appreciate all that is fashion, art and design, but have a more specific view with regards to what aspects they enjoy. The +Influents program aims to streamline that vision, pushing it further and making it more practical. This program was designed as a bridge between being a CC “camper” to finding your place in the fashion world.
As a +Influent you will still get a glimpse of the “traditional” CC experience, take part in specialized LIT programming and placements as well be exposed to our unique +Influent programming. The plan being to teach applicable life + leadership skills under the guise of fashion. We want you to find who you are, what you enjoy, and have you express those passions in a setting that will help you grow. CRAFTYCOUTURE’s goal has always been to spark a passion for design and creativity in the youth of our city, +Influents wants to ignite that spark. Whether you wish to illustrate fashion, design fashion, write or produce fashion, we want to show you the practicality of a future in fashion. Putting you in an environment where you are given the training, tools and encouragement to succeed in a world post CC.
The program is divided into two factions:
+Influents will be presented with a Certificate in Leadership Training at the end of the program.
This program is open to teens going into Grades 10 and 11. Due to its specialized nature is limited to 12 +Influents per session.
